Synopsis

You are a poor beggar, living a low and lonely life in the streets of the market. One day, the queen rushes outside of her castle in a panic! Something horrible has happened, and she's willing to pay a hefty sum to anyone who can successfully complete her quest. You choose to embark on the journey as it has the potential to change your life forever. But the world is full of evil people. Some will lead you in the wrong direction. Some will deceive you for their own gain. Some will bite you in the ass. The longer you play the more you'll find yourself asking

How to play

This is a point and click adventure game, which as the name suggests, is played by pointing and clicking on objects and characters in the screen. Usually you'll know an object is clickable and not just a part of the background in one of two ways:

1. It has a black outline (and if playing on pc will have a shadow when hovered over)
2. It stands out from the background (Maybe a bush, a huge egg, something right in the middle of the screen) Sometimes an item you clicked on will be stored in your inventory. Inventory items can only be used in certain situations, so if you click and nothing happens, assume you can't use that item currently.

You also can't use inventory items or interact with objects in general when a dialogue is ongoing.

Mobile Disclaimer

This game was built and tested mostly on PC. It supports mobile only because the fact the only control is pressing on the screen. We know there are some bugs when playing on mobile, mainly caused by the horrendous aspect ratio. There are some elements you simply cannot reach (like the exit button in the main menu), and for the same reason, most clickable items appear twice (for example the market sign posts). Obviously since mobile was not a priority for this jam these weren't (and won't be) fixed. You can still play the game. You can even reach the ending. But you won't be able to complete some of the achievements. We apologize for the frustration this may cause and ask you to try using the web build instead if you don't have a windows PC to run this on. Although if you run the web build on a mobile phone you'll run into the same problems.

Web Build Disclaimer

For a screen of a non-computer device, all mobile disclaimer points probably apply.
For a computer running the web build the catch is that it looks HORRIBLE and literally unplayable in the preview box size, so what you need to do is, as soon as the game begins
1. Go to options
2. Enable full screen (the toggle at the top right)
3. Press something on the screen, like the quality dropdown.
